FAQ

Here you will find answers to our most frequently asked questions.

1. Why would the government exonerate me from my student loans?

There are more than 44 million borrowers with over $1.3 trillion in student loan debt in the U.S. alone. Many of them were left to pay high monthly fees and high interest rates, even in some cases overcharged. That is why the government took action to help students and in turn stimulate the economy, reduce debt nationwide and improve the quality of life of our citizens. That is why our services are necessary, to guide the borrowers to find the much needed help.

2. What are the benefits of registering for these programs?

They are one of the best options and opportunities for stressed college students. Student loan forgiveness programs come as tools for borrowers, therefore, when you are someone who has been saddled with an overwhelmingly large amount of student loan debt, you can check on your alternatives as the student loan forgiveness programs are there to help you out.

3. If I want to consolidate my debt, how long does the process take?

The process of student loan consolidation can take as little as a couple weeks to as long as several months, however, filling out the application doesn’t take more than a few minutes. Once your application is completed, you will receive a letter detailing your new consolidated loan, new interest rate, and loan servicer.

4. What loans are eligible for a Forgiveness Program?

Any non-defaulted loan made under the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program (Direct Loan Program) is eligible for loan forgiveness. The Direct Loan Program includes the following loans:

  • Federal Direct Stafford/Ford Loans (Direct Subsidized Loans)

  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford/Ford Loans (Direct Unsubsidized Loans)

  • Federal Direct PLUS Loans (Direct PLUS Loans)—for parents and graduate or professional students Federal Direct Consolidation Loans (Direct Consolidation Loans)

5. If the government offers these programs, why do I have to pay to register?

No funding is received through these programs. That is why our clients have to pay for our services, in the same way as any other service, such as hiring an attorney or tax administrator.
